TAMBLINGAN

Taman Wisata Alam Danau Buyan-Danau Tamblingan
administratif pemerintahan termasuk wilayah Kecamatan
Sukasada Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng dan
Kecamatan Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan. Sedangkan
secara geografis, letak Taman Wisata Alam Danau
Buyan-Danau Tamblingan berada diantara 8o 14′ 8″ - 8o
17′ 5″ LS dan 115o 05′ 15″ - 115o 11′ 10″ BT.
Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Kehutanan No.:
144/Kpts-II/1996 tanggal 4 April 1996, tentang Penetapan
sebagian Kawasan Hutan Batukahu (RTK.4) yang terletak
di Kabupaten Dati.II Tabanan dan Kabupaten Dati.II
Buleleng Propinsi Dati.I Bali, seluas 1.336,50 Ha sebagai
Taman Wisata Alam Danau Buyan-Danau Tamblingan
(tidak termasuk Danau Buyan), dimana didalamnya
terdapat enclave seluas 8 Ha. Revisi luas kawasan sesuai
dengan Surat Keputusan Kepala Kantor Wilayah
Departemen Kehutanan No.: 140/Kwl-5/1997 tanggal 22
Januari 1997, maka luas Taman Wisata Alam Danau

Buyan-Danau Tamblingan menjadi 1.703 Ha (sudah
termasuk Danau Buyan dan Danau Tamblingan).
Kawasan Taman Wisata Alam Danau Buyan-Danau
Tamblingan berbatasan dengan :
• Sebelah Utara : Desa Wanagiri, Desa Lemukih
• Sebelah Timur : Hutan Lindung, Dsn.Peken,
Desa Pancasari
• Sebelah Selatan : Desa Batunya, Desa
Candikuning
• Sebelah Barat : Dusun Tamblingan, Desa
Munduk dan Desa Gesing

Pemilihan analisis faktor sebagai alat analisis pada penelitian ini, disebabkan karena penelitian ini mencoba menemukan hubungan (interrelationship) beberapa variabel yang saling independen satu dengan yang lainnya, sehingga bisa dibuat kumpulan variabel yang lebih sedikit dari jumlah variabel awal sehingga akan lebih mudah dikontrol oleh manajemen perusahaan atau pemegang kebijakan perusahaan (more…)

This dissertation entitles “Agrotourism as an Alternative Form of Tourism in Bali”. The introduction describes the background, problem statement, research questions, and purposes of the research. The problem statement is how could agrotourism contribute innovation upon the tourism sector and improve the economy, social and environmental situations of local communities in Bali? The study is aimed at formulating the best strategies to develop agrotourism in Bali. The research problems are formulated as follows; how is the current situation of tourism and agriculture in Bali? What opportunities are available to develop agrotourism in Bali? What barriers are found in developing agrotourism in Bali? What are the tourism stakeholders’ opinions toward agrotourism development in Bali? How could agrotourism improve of the economy of local communities in Bali? This study discusses the general preview of tourism and agriculture in Bali, the opportunities and barriers of agrotourism development in Bali, stakeholders’ opinions concerning the development of agrotourism in Bali, agrotourism contributions toward economy and social situation improvements of the local communities, and contributions of agrotourism toward contribute for sustainable tourism development.
This data collected through survey method using questionnaires distributed to 60 respondents from four groups of farmers comprise: Bayung Gede, Candikuning, Blimbingsari, and Pelaga Villages as samples. This study also used 35 expert respondents who come from each local community, universities, NGOs, and local governments. The data are descriptively and statistically analysed using SWOT analysis.
This study finds that (1) the most potential opportunity of agrotourism is increasing family, followed by employee involvement, generating tourism income and increasing value of the village; (2) the hardest barriers of agrotourism development in Bali is inadequate infrastructures, other barriers are limited public facilities, imperfect human resource skills, scarce investments, and insufficient government supports; (3) the ecological resources particularly lakes, social life especially farmers and their lives, and cultural resources such as unique traditions are the strength factors of agrotourism development in Bali; (4) lacks of government support, investment, infrastructures, and human skills are weakness factors; (5) generating related tourism businesses are the most potential opportunity of agrotourism development in Bali.
